Since June 2015 I am staying in the Ramee Atrium Hotel Apartments (Apartment 607) in Tecom, holding a one year tenancy contract.

Since the day I was moving in to the apartment I have to go to the hotel reception almost on a daily basic to complain about several problems that I am facing in the hotel.
So far the hotel staff was unable to solve any of my problems even after several follow ups. So I would like to inform you directly about the following problems, which are most probably the problems of the other hotel guests as well.
1. Before I moved in to the apartment I agreed with the Sales manager (Majid) and the Facility Manager? (Mario) to fix the following things in the apartment so that they are done on the move in date:
- Wet/Leaking ceiling in the bedroom - not fixed until today after several follow ups
- Damaged and moldy sealing in the bathroom - fixed 4 weeks after move in
- Damaged curtains in the bedroom and living room - fixed 1 week after move in after several follow ups
- Damaged chairs and dining table - chairs replaced 1 week after move in, dining table still not replaced
- Change of the Ejari registration to my name, which is necessary for me to receive housing allowance from my employer - changed 6 weeks after move in. So I did not receive two months housing allowance!

2. Before I moved in to the apartment the Sales Manager (Majid) and the real estate agent (Adam - living in 707) promised me high speed internet. The internet was working for about 4 weeks without problem at a decent speed. Then, by beginning of June, the internet was not working at all for 1 week!!! and the speed was limited to 1 mbit/sec (Before it was 6 mbit/sec). This is a speed which is not high speed at all. It is even not possible to check emails. Also the connection is interrupting all the time. (The IT could not help me so far)
Since 6 weeks I am complaining at the reception on a daily basis about the internet. The staff at the reception is since then giving me excuses that the IT will come soon to fix the problem or that I should just wait until it is better. Also Mr. Mario was laughing about me and telling that I should get my own internet if I am not happy with this one.
I have to work from home, which is, at this internet speed, not possible for me anymore.

3. The machines in the gym are damaged since 6 weeks and cause injuries when using them. The reception told me that they don’t know when it will be fixed.
4. The gym is dirty and smells bad.
5. The stairs to the pool area are broken since long time. The sharp edges can cause serious injuries.

I am paying a lot of money for this apartment which is absolutely not reasonable for the condition of the apartment, the facilities and especially for the quality of service.
I very much regret that I was signing the contract for this apartment and that I have to stay here for another nine months, because I fear that the service and the above mentioned points will not be better in the near future.

I hope that we can have a personal discussion about them soon.
Thank you very much for your understanding!

Best regards,

Irina
